I “Got It In” twice this weekend….with 2 different strangers!!

LOL…Well since you clicked the link I will explain what I mean. This past weekend I gave myself an amazing challenge. 72 hours to create two videos by two completely different artists on opposite sides of the hip hop spectrum.

The first Artist known as Knowledge Da Boss wanted a typical music video complete with Fancy Cars, ‘Homies’ and Hoochies. I was not available for the pre-production and was called in the day before the shoot. I had not even heard the track until I arrived on set. This was one of those projects I avoided doing my entire career but it was for a good friend and they had a better budget then most of the artists I have worked with in the past.  When I arrived on set I was anything but surprised, however as a professional in this business I am always prepared for anything. The shoot went better then I expected but longer then I projected. After too many hours of working I was able to put together a cool piece within 48 hours.  I also appreciated Knowledge’s drive and I think with the right direction, music, people  and concepts he has potential in the industry. Check out the video.

Knowledge Da Boss  “Got Candy”

The second was an Artist known as That’s Tre. I was introduced to him by a mutual friend, Buhrm Gotti- personality at KS 107.5. In this case we did have a treatment, script and a pre-production meeting. We met Sunday morning, Tre was very professional and easy to direct as was the lead actress in the video, Tiya Wolff. We shot for a couple hours, went to eat, have a drink, chill, grabbed a couple more impromptu shots and had a video complete with post production within 24 hours. Check out the video.

That’s Tre “Same Road”

So from Thursday Night to Sunday I ‘got it in’ with 2 different strangers.  It was a great challenge and an amazing test of my abilities. I walked away with two very happy clients. These were both of these artists First Music Videos and I am proud to say that I was the “Video De-Virginizer.” Please watch and share, and thanks for reading. Sincerely
